My first ever order from BATW. Fast delivery from Vancouver to Alberta, only took 2 days. Roasted fresh to my order. Delicious flavour. They live up to their standards. Consistent roasting from bag to bag, I ordered four bags. I now have a five pound bag of signature espresso on the way, very excited to get it dialed.
Love the Italian Roast. 95% of the time is my daily coffee. The other 5% is the organic expresso.

I used to order all the time and the coffee was great. This shipment is terrible. Tates bitter and old. Not to mention the price went up.
Reading other reviews for this coffee has me a little baffled. I found it to be smooth tasting, no bitterness. However the taste is bland without a real coffee taste. I tried 3 different grinds and it never changed the taste/flavor. When I opened the bag and smelled the beans I didn’t get a coffee smell. The next day I got the coffee smell from the beans. Not my favorite.
Delicious coffee! Went to Italy in May and had a hankering to try this Italian roast. I’m happy I did! Makes a great and strong espresso!

We love this coffee! We bought a few small different bags of different beans a year ago and love the Italian roast and now buy the 5 pound bag every time!
My other favourite
Since I live in a relatively rural area of the Cariboo, I buy the Italian blend of beans in 5 lb bags. I burr grind the beans to a near expresso grind since I enjoy my coffee alittle on the stronger side. This coffee is rich, smooth and leaves none of the aftertaste so many of the coffees leave. To me, this is a "perfect" everyday coffee.
