I liked it. It was a little dark for my taste but it did say it’s their darkest roast ever so.. yeah. You get what you ask for lol
I like the espresso roast better but this was good too.
Fromt the moment I opened and smelled the bag of this coffee, I knew it was going to make the PERFECT cup everytime! Nothing else to say but PERFECTION in a cup. Dark roast, as promised. 10/10.
Black Mountain is really good as a pour over ( I use it in a Clever Coffee Dripper) and also in an Aeropress, but where it is incredible is as an espresso in milk based drinks - love my lattes and cortados ! Good, strong flavour that was shaming many of my other espresso beans. Look at the pic, guess what the 4th bag was ! lol
Absolutely love Black Mountain coffee. Rich and strong. Perfect way to start your day. Ordering it through the mail has been so convenient. I'm addicted.
Delicious cup of strong, dark roast! Love that this can be delivered to us at our rural address, and still so fresh! Makes every morning just that much better!
I recently was introduced to the bean around the world and the black mountain blend by a coffee connoisseur friend of mine. I had a cup of this and I was hooked. I came home from my trip and promptly ordered the 5 lb bag. When the box came, I thought, this thing must have alot of popcorn packing in it. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised at the enormous bag of coffee. So fresh and delish. Store it in the freezer to keep it fresh and will be ordering again soon! Thanks BATW for the amazing quality blend
Best coffee ever. Three family members subscribe to your Black Mountain! In 5 lb. shipments.
And I visit your West Van location whenever I'm in Vancouver.
Love it but my PayPal payment method got expired for some reason so my subscription is in limbo and I am running out of coffee. Hopefully the e-commerce platform recovers!
This is an absolutely amazing dark roast. Smoky, hints of caramel, and deep richness. Opening the bag, the beans are dark and covered in beautiful coffee oils. This is a must try for dark coffee lovers.
Best coffee ever. I usually never do subscriptions and i get 3 pounds of Black Mountain on recurring subscription, thats how good it is. Wife and I dont want anytbing else.
I love Black Mountain Coffee! Sometimes, I go to bed at night, excited, due to the rich, vibrant brew I'll be having within minutes of waking up!! I've subscribed for steady delivery, and I'm impressed with the flexibility of this subscription plan, and the efficiency of the steady supply being delivered to my door. Good Job, BATW!!
"I recently tried the Black Mountain coffee from Batw Coffee, and I must say, it's an outstanding flavor. As a fan of dark roast coffee, this blend quickly became my favorite. The rich and bold flavor is perfect to kickstart my mornings and sets the right tone for the day ahead. I particularly enjoy the distinct smokiness combined with deep caramel tones, which adds a delightful complexity to every sip. Without a doubt, Batw Coffee's Black Mountain has become my go-to choice when I need a satisfying and flavorful cup of coffee. Highly recommended for fellow dark roast enthusiasts!"
I make my coffee more like a "Cowboy Coffee", simply pour boiling water over very coarsely ground beans, leave it sit 5 minutes, and then filter through a screen and paper cone into a thermos.... The very coarse grind uses more coffee, but for the most part you lose the bitterness while getting the full flavour.... I have been drinking a blend of Sumatra and Colombia, both dark roasts, and compared to that, the flavour is similar, but a hint of bitterness "filters" through.... All in all, a very good blend, and I look forward to trying some of the others from BATW!....
