2022 was an eventful year. We're so grateful to the Bean Around The World community for your support, and for choosing Bean as your favourite neighbourhood coffee shop!
One of the highlights of the year was the introduction of our Bean x Lohin McKinnon Whiskey Series. This marks the fifth year we have experimented with barrel aged coffee!Â
This limited edition, barrel-aged coffee was a hit and sold out quickly. We received such great feedback that we're already planning to bring it back soon.
We also introduced new and improved versions of two of our popular canned drinks.Â
The Bean Around The World Canned Cold Brew was updated with a new design and a perfected flavour, making it a convenient and delicious choice for on-the-go coffee lovers.Â

Last year, we also perfected the flavor of our Canned Nitro Ginger Hibiscus - a bubbly, refreshing twist on our popular Ginger Hibiscus tea. Try it next time you want something crisp and invigorating.
Finca Carrizal
It’s been an exciting time perfecting our beverages, but our focus expanded all the way over to Central America.Â
In our quest to discover the best coffee beans and the most ethical farming practices, we’ve been lucky enough to build strong partnerships with the most talented farmers and their communities.Â
GOur Santa Clara coffee bean is grown and harvested at the Finca El Carrizal farm in Guatemala. The farm is located on a remote mountainous region. In 2008 Bean Around The World funded the construction of a school for the Finca El Carrizal community.
In 2022, we continued our support by funding the teachers' salaries, providing students a daily lunch, and offering scholarships to send students to high school. It's incredibly rewarding to be able to give back in this way and make a positive impact in the lives of the community where we source one of our most beloved beans.
As we look ahead to the new year, we're excited to continue serving our customers with delicious coffee and innovative new products, and to continue supporting communities around the world.Â
